You were looking for a laugh to start your Columbus Day / Canadian Thanksgiving Day / etc. off, weren’t you? Consider yourself lucky. OLO Computer is reportedly thinking of bringing to market a netbook-styled device that would actually enable (require?) users to plop their iPhone / iPhone 3G into the palm rest; from there, the handset would act as the brains of the operation and double as a trackpad. At the present time, there are no real specifications to speak of — just a zany teaser page and lots of speculation.

MacBook / MacBook Pro Pictures
Well the rumoratti has certainly been working overtime today when it comes to Apple, so we’ve decided to bundle all the news that’s currently doing the rounds into one tasty and nutritious post.
First up, there are new — and quite detailed — pictures out of what appears to be those MacBook and MacBook Pro casings we saw during the week. Again, we can’t 100 percent confirm that these are the real deal, but they certainly have that Air-meets-MacBook hybrid quality to them that would suggest we’re looking at the next iteration of the line.

MSI MS-1651 Laptop Reviews Pictures
The Mini MS-1651 Laptop design of this notebook is very nice, with a cool looking silver on black appearance. The Mini MS-1651 Laptop screen lid and keyboard palmrest is made up of brushed aluminum, which even includes the touchpad buttons. The media buttons are flush mounted on a matte plastic panel that is entirely touch sensitive except for the main power button. The overall look is very stylish for a gaming notebook, and has nothing too out of the ordinary compared to the lengths some manufacturers go with exotic colors and LEDs.

We managed to get some very early hands-on time with Asus’ next addition to its Eee PC line up, which is due to be announced some time today. We’ve also managed to garner enough information on the new Eee to put together some early thoughts on this exciting new device.The new unit, which will be known as the Asus Eee PC S101 Laptops, excites us because it is such a massive departure from previous Eee PCs. The major change is the sub-laptop’s aesthetics – the Asus Eee PC S101 Laptops has grown up and it no longer looks, or feels like Your First Laptop, never mind a cost-cut device.

Enter Lenovo’s newest outrage — the Lenovo ThinkPad W700 Laptop. Containing enough computational artillery to level a small village, this for-creatives-only behemoth is designed for sheer pixel pushing… and little else. The Lenovo ThinkPad W700 Laptop system packs in two features aimed at graphic artists and photographers which are fairly unique to a laptop: a built in Wacom digitizer just to the right of the trackpad, and an on-board color calibrator.
