ASUS Eee PC 1215N is pretty much what I’ve been waiting for in a netbook. Guarenteed to be cheaper than the iPad. This can’t come soon enough. ASUS Eee PC 1215N with the Intel Atom D525 processor and the next generation NVIDIA ION discrete graphics processor. It also comes with the latest USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 3.0 technologies. Hardware decoders embedded within the 1215N perfectly decode H.264, VC1 and MPEG2 file formats while the HDMI-output port enables Full HD 1080p playback on large screen displays.

The ASUS Eee PC 1215N also features a camera cover over the webcam’s lens to give users added privacy. The ASUS Eee PC 1215N’s 250GB or 320GB hard drive is supplemented by 500GB of ASUS WebStorage. Users can simply store files via a simple drag and drop interface.

The ASUS Eee PC 1215N features LocaleMe, an application that leverages on Microsoft’s Bing map. It helps users pinpoint their exact location, as well as provide information about the surrounding areas. Users can use LocaleMe to find addresses and route directions.

ASUS Eee PC 1215N users are also granted access to Boingo global Wi-Fi services at a special price. A single account gives users access to over 100,000 hotspots at airports, hotels, cafes and restaurants around the world. If this has more than 6 hours battery life, available for less than $500, and available before end of August then I will buy it.

ASUS Eee PC 1005PR is excellent on the battery life. Get 11 hours out of writing research papers on Word, generating excel reports, checking stocks, reading WSJ, managing portfolios, and etc. The ASUS Eee PC 1005PR laptop is very sleek, hardware and software works fine. Optimally-spaced chiclet keyboard feels great to type on. Screen is bright enough. Sound quality is great comparing to other netbooks. Windows 7 Starter runs pretty fast in my opinion. I highly recommend the ASUS Eee PC 1005PR.

ASUS Eee PC 1001P-PU17-WT is an amazing Netbook for the price that I paid for an Intel Atom N450. The average time on battery only is about six to seven hours for me with good reserve. The computer battery monitor provides an acceptable average of battery reserve based on useage. The 1GB SO-DIMM was replaced with a 2GB without problems. The power supply sets on my desk and runs cool. The design of the power tip is such to help reduce accidental damage but having said that I feel it prudent for one to observe care with it’s use. ASUS Eee PC 1001P-PU17-WT is definitely the best Netbook you can buy with the Asus reputation behind it.

ASUS Eee PC T101MT price for $499 start shipping in the US in April. I’m liking this price. Considering this is a convertible, you have a keyboard when you need it. Having every option for as much functionality as possible is a good thing. I was waiting to buy this 6 months ago. Its a shame it probably wont be powerful enough to run hulu. Other than that i expect nothing, it was just a simple evaluation of the hardfacts so far. If ASUS Eee PC T101MT works well, I’ll be issuing one to each worker as their new ‘office companion’ to complement their CAD workstations. All in all, I’m liking ASUS Eee PC T101MT design.
