My Best Laptop

HP Pavilion DM3-1040US is the best HP Laptop I have ever owned not to mention its great looking exterior. That pretty much sums up the negatives of this otherwise wonderful machine. The display is gorgeous, it’s fast as all get-up (I have the Su7300 processor and 7200 rpm hard drive), it has plenty of RAM (4 gigs), the speakers are more than acceptable for a small laptop, battery life is awesome and it’s a classy looking unit clad in all metal. At $649 after rebate I think this laptop hits a real sweet spot in the 13″ market! I’ve had it for a week now and am really enjoying it.

Acer AOD250 and the ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005HA were tied for best netbook to get. Amazon give the best service. I went to Best Buy where they weren’t very helpful, no one said a word to me even walking around with cash in hand and intent on buying something. ASUS K50IJ-X8 is one of the Best Rated Laptops. It is small and light enough to be carried around all the time, yet large and fast enough to do most ordinary work. Sony VAIO VGN-NW240F/S is one of the Best Sony Laptop to Buy. This isn’t a tiny netbook. As always, the Vaio screen is lovely and bright, and widescreen. The ports seem to be well-placed. And the aesthetics are quite nice — it’s a brushed, fingerprint-resistant silver. It’s really quite fast, no choking or hard drive whirring while loading programs, etc. And it’s extremely quiet. They keyboard took a little while to adapt to, but it’s nice and roomy, with space between the keys. The touchpad works well, and the DVD drive is also smooth and quiet. The HDMI port works as it should with my LCD tv. I’m happy I made this purchase, would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone!

Acer Aspire AS1410-2497 is one of the best Acer Aspire. This 11.6″ laptop has a decent size screen and a nice size keyboard. Windows 7 takes a little getting used to, but I’ve had no issues with it at all. However, be aware that this model sports a single core processor. It has a larger hard drive, and wireless n instead of just b & g. So basically I got more, all at a lower price. And the 6 hour battery doesn’t ruin the nice slim profile of the machine. The sound is good. When hooked up to power, it can be very bright and looks very good. It’s awesome how light and compact it is but still doing everything I need.

HP Pavilion dv6t Quad Edition Espresso Black is one of the best HP laptop for gaming. You want to watch Hulu in higher resolution and/or at full screen; if you burn a lot of DVDs; if you do Photoshop or make movies; if you play video games that make demands on hardware. Get the new Black HP Pavilion dv6t instead. Perfect for entertainment and game usage and very good deal for college students. This machine is a lot more expensive than similarly spec’d Windows machines but I feel that it’s worth the money.

HP G60-530US run Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, it works very well. The 4 GB of memory is enough. And the 320gb hard drive is plenty to back up with while out traveling. It’s lighter than the average notebook and also thinner as well. The display is bright and offers great colour while watching DVDs. Battery life is great; I got almost 3.75 hours out of it with Wifi off watching one 97 minute DVD and doing basic stuff using apps.
