ASUS G73JH-A2 is one sleek machine! The battery life is great, it feels like it’s built to last and the performance is great for this class of machine. The speed is great. Windows 7 is great. Its very responsive and you can hit that power button and be literally working on your computer in less than 30 seconds. Its that fast. Also the graphics card apparently is working very well. Very good discrete graphics card. I don’t intend to run crysis on it, but it run Need For Speed Shift at native resolution extremely well. Games run perfectly. Buy it soon if you havn’t! The price might just get higher.

Lenovo IdeaPad Y460 with plus size screen compared to netbooks with same/less capacity. Quick boot with Windows 7 Home Premium. Battery life as advertised. The screen is very clear, it also has amazing brihtness. Look and feel is expensive and refined although brushed aluminum is just painted on. 2.13GHz Core i3-330M processor is fine for regular office work and light play. Much faster, more usable and more refined than a netbook. Much lighter and thinner than a traditional computer. Overall I’m very pleased with Lenovo IdeaPad Y460 and given the price drop under $1000 now.

MSI X-Slim X360 is light and thin laptop. It is a good cheap laptop for playing games. 8 cell battery for long battery life. I was looking for a laptop that was not very sofisticated since I need it for school. This Netbook filled my expectations and I am very satisfied. Speed, sound and graphics are fine. The MSI X-Slim X360 delivers on all fronts and is light and easy to use. Well, given that you have a backup desktop, that is if you have any super-valuable work!

MSI Wind U160 is great little netbook. The netbook looks nice and simple. Everything works fine, including webcam and wireless. Overall performance is pretty good. I like the screen, the light weight, and the ports. However I am not comfortable with the keyboard because I type very fast. I added the extra gig of memory and had difficulty removing the back plate, only to discover the last screw was mounted beneath and hidden by the sticker that reads warranty will be voided if tampered. I am very pleased MSI Wind U160 netbook and plan to use it extensively in my travels.

HP Mini 210-1084NR seems to be a great product. I purchased this mini computer for my adolescent in elementary school. HP Mini 210-1084NR provides internet email, internet, and music and pictures. If you want Windows 7 you just click on bottom left screen. The KB is close to being full sized and very clear. Windows 7 runs perfectly and has a lot of cool new features and is definetely the best Windows OS so far. I also appreciated that the media card reader will take my XD cards, as a lot do not. With the wireless hook up and the compact size for $320 HP Mini 210-1084NR is a great addition to your home network.

ASUS N61JV-X2 is very thin and very light. It’s about half the wight of my old Dell Inspiron, and the size is small enough to be really portable and large enough to watch movies. The screen quality is amazing, and it comes with some of the most beautiful desktop images I’ve seen. I am truly impressed. The keyboard and touchpad design are great. It’s fast enough and big enough for everything I need. Most of the computer is somewhat fingerprint-proof. I think ASUS N61JV-X2 is all for now. Worth every penny.

Gateway NV7922u with best features for the price. When doing research the " new " intel i5 processor was the way to go. It runs fasted than expected. Better than the core 2 duo. The 64bit system is great. The hard drive at 500gb is more than expected. Windows 7 very nice and I was a windows XP person. The screen size big at 17.3 inches and very clear. Hooks up easily to any TV with the HDMI port. Had no problems playing CD’s and DVD’s. I would suggest getting a wireless mouse and keyboard though. The laptop itself is light weight. If you are looking for a new laptop I would highly recommend Gateway NV7922u for the features and price.

Lenovo ThinkPad X201 have awesome prices. You don’t pay for the cosmetics, you pay for power and support. Lenovo ThinkPad X201 could promise a 12 hour battery life with a core i7 is very impressive. It only use Intel GMA graphics, but with Nvidia’s Optimus technology it would seamlessly switch only when you need it to. The touch pad looks really out of place. Lenovo should consider adding touchpad-free CTO options with $50 premium. Personally i prefer to use the nipple over the touchpad anyday. Lenovo ThinkPad X201 is a nice enough laptop, but not nearly the most powerful that title would belong to the Fujitsu t900 or Toshiba m870. But I still like it.

ASUS N61JQ-X1 looked clean and business like, far from the truth when I popped in a few games, Dragon’s age runs at near all high settings flawlessly with no stuttering or major fps drops and is stunning, runs warcraft @ 50fps in Dalaran, programs are fast, a very nice all around notebook, hard drive is a bit small for gaming, but who needs a bunch of games loaded all at once, does warm up but not too hot, for extended gaming sessions a cooler would be a good idea. I am very happy with ASUS N61JQ-X1. I use it for development, gaming and watching movies, it does all of this very well. The only thing I am not too ecstatic about is the extra "features" preinstalled, and maybe it not having 1920×1080 resolution. Great System!

HP Pavilion DV6-2162NR is excellent choice. The keys are very glossy. It may take some time to get used to the texture. They also show skin oils easily. On the product image it shows that the RJ 11 is available, it is not. The buttons on the touch pad look like they will not last long. Nice and lightweight. Screen is terrific for watching movies or playing games. Windows 7 Home Premium with HP software tools keep everything running with ease of use. Overall, HP Pavilion DV6-2162NR is awesome product and very good value for the price.
