ASUS Eee PC 1201N is looking nice. Its either this or the ul30vt. He had FRAPS running so we could see FPS. It can play ASSASSIN’s CREED and COD4 that’s fantastic. So far so good, we just need better vids on the gaming aspect to see if it’s what we are looking for. It could be quite deceiving comparing the 3dmark scores of these 2 netbooks but it appears that extra cpu core helps it out big time in real world gaming. Price for $499.

ASUS UL20A-A1 is a great laptop. The 1.3GHz Intel SU7300 Core 2 Duo Processor is good but not amazing. The 12.1-Inch model is great too. The keyboard is full sized and the number pad is extremely helpful (at least to me). Cool, very thoughtfully designed to avoid heat buildup. Quiet, as it is so cool, the fan never speeds up to make noticeable noise.

HP Mini 110-1113NR 10.1-Inch Pink Netbook do a lot of writing, email, and a little video work is perfect. There’s a wide screen, so that I can see two pages when working on a book page layout. It’s very fast compared with my old Pentium 4 laptop. If you want quick word processing, email, facebook, etc… this one’s incredible. I got this on sale at Amazon’s this week for $339.99, which is a crazy low price and I’m thrilled.

Acer AOD250-1842 10.1-Inch Black Netbook run Windows 7 Starter Operating System, It works very well. The 1 GB of memory is enough. And the 250gb hard drive is plenty to back up with while out traveling. Every piece of hardware works automatically without any need for configuration. Video’s play smoothly both in VLC and in flash in the browser, and the sound is great.

Acer AOD250-1197 keyboard feels very natural, and overall work is smooth sailing. Use 10.1″ WSVGA Acer CrystalBrite LED Display play demo games and watch a few videos and most DVDs play great, but there was one that does not play smoothly, so I guess it depends on the DVD encoding. He 8 Hours of battery life ensures that the laptop is always ready when I need to use it.

When I first saw Asus UL80Vt, I was very excited because it has something the older generation netbooks have lacked, decent resolution (1366×768), decent performance, even better battery life (11.5 hours). 14-inch Widescreen HD LED LCD Display is very sharp and very bright. 1.3GHz Intel SU7300 Core 2 Duo Processor and 4GB of DDR3 RAM In terms of word processing, web surfing and installing software very fast. I run it on high performance mode, and it still gives me about 11.5 hours of battery life.

Asus G51J with i7 now I have less batery life! This is one sweet ass machine at a great price, with the option for gaming should you want it. These days, 13″ models seem to be pretty popular since they get the job done and don’t take up much space. you’ll find a bunch of users that get blue screens while gaming in Win7. However, many users report no problem in XP. I have this problem as well and am holding out for a new BIOS instead of downgrading the OS.

Acer AS5517-1643 can enjoy your music while roaming around the room, graphics is also good, better than the rest of the NVIDIA line-up. Sound quality is better than Dell. The numpad makes playing games easier, and good to have if you are looking for a big screen desktop replacement. The Acer Aspire Timeline AS4810TZ-4508 high-powered processor working alongside the high amounts of ram allow me to surf the web, do my work and computer programming, and listen to my internet radio all at the same time with no slow down at all. The hard drive is huge, so I was able to install all of my large-sized programs with no problem at all. The webcam is very good and produces a clear picture when I chat with my family and friends. Aside from performance, it looks great with its shiny titanium finish and the screen is big, bright, and clear.
