MSI Wind12 U230 is a great laptop, a big enough screen to use in the real world, and plenty of horsepower. Small form factor good performance, big enough keyboard to actually use frequently. MSI Wind12 U230 is perfect! Runs everything I want it too plus it’s extremely tiny! It’s powerful enough for me to Unrar large files and play 720p streams. The MSI Wind12 U230 feels very snappy. The small size is a bonus. I haven’t seen any of the other issues that were mentioned above. For 400 bucks you get an Ultra Portable laptop that’s powerful enough to run all your apps. Spending hundreds of dollars more wouldn’t really give you that much more IMO. If you want to game you probably aren’t buying a laptop anyways. Overall great build quality and funct.

MSI X-Slim X360 is light and thin laptop. It is a good cheap laptop for playing games. 8 cell battery for long battery life. I was looking for a laptop that was not very sofisticated since I need it for school. This Netbook filled my expectations and I am very satisfied. Speed, sound and graphics are fine. The MSI X-Slim X360 delivers on all fronts and is light and easy to use. Well, given that you have a backup desktop, that is if you have any super-valuable work!

MSI Wind12 U230 specs with 1.60GHz AMD Athlon Neo X2 L335 or MV-40 processor, 12.1" WXGA 1366 x 768 display, ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics, 2GB of RAM, 250GB or 320GB hard drive, 6-cell lithium ion battery, run Windows 7 Home Premium. MSI Wind12 U230 would be great for surfing the web and taking notes in class, and at 12 inches it’s just the right size. You will love it.

MSI X-Slim X360 looks very cool. MSI X-Slim X360 power by an Intel Core i5 processor, aided by Intel’s Turbo Boost/Hyper-Threading technology. Features a 13 inch HD LCD display with a resolution of 1366 x 768, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, options of 3 hard drives that come in capacities of 250GB, 320GB and 500GB. other include RJ-45 LAN, 802.11 b/g/draft n WiFi, Bluetooth V2.1+EDR, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, HDMI out, two USB ports, two speakers and even mic-in and headphone-out jacks. All these components are somehow packed inside a frame measuring 324 mm (W) x 227 mm (D) x 6~22.5 mm, along with a 4/8-cell battery, which supposedly enables a life of up to an impressive nine hours. The laptop weighs about 1.4 kilograms. No word about pricing and release details. Nice, if this is now just light enough, I am buying it for sure.

MSI Wind U160 is great little netbook. The netbook looks nice and simple. Everything works fine, including webcam and wireless. Overall performance is pretty good. I like the screen, the light weight, and the ports. However I am not comfortable with the keyboard because I type very fast. I added the extra gig of memory and had difficulty removing the back plate, only to discover the last screw was mounted beneath and hidden by the sticker that reads warranty will be voided if tampered. I am very pleased MSI Wind U160 netbook and plan to use it extensively in my travels.

MSI Wind U160 specs with 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 10” WSVGA 1024 x 600 display, Intel GMA 3150 graphics, 1GB of ram, 250GB hard drive, 6-cell lithium ion battery, run Windows 7 Starter. MSI Wind U160 is bloody fantastic, the price incredible. What else to you need? Buy it.

MSI X-Slim X340 is an extremely slim (0.7" thin) and light (just under 3-lb) laptop that rivals the MacBook Air. Its 13.4" LED-backlit LCD screen is bright and show good vivid color contrast. It is a very respectable keyboard that show little flex during typing. The standard 4-cell last a little over 3 hours of mixed use with Wifi on at all time with FTP upload, web browsing, document creation and screen brightness set at about 75%. MSI X-Slim X340 is a wonderful laptop for those of us who want a small and light ultraportable with a large screen, but didn’t want to spend more than $1000 for a new laptop.

MSI FX400 And FX600 are two new MSI laptops show on CeBIT 2010. MSI FX400 has a 14-inch screen and MSI FX600 has a 16-inch screen. They run on NVIDIA’s Optimus that gives them dedicated GeForce 300M-series graphics cards. Come with Intel Core I5 processor, up to 4GB of RAM, four 2W speakers. Both will aim for a designer look with a textured bronze finish and silver trim. Price between $800 to $1,000. The MSI FX400 And FX600 are good laptops. I love these new MSI laptops.

MSI GT660 is a new GT series gaming laptop. MSI GT660 with a quad Core i7 processor and a GeForce GTX 285M for graphics with 1GB GDDR3 display memory, and the GT660 is one of MSI’s first notebooks with USB 3.0 ports, Windows 7 as the operating system of choice. There is no word on a price or other specifications. MSI has promising to say more about MSI GT660 at CeBIT in March 2010. If you need a 3D laptop, then I recommend the MSI GT660.

MSI CR620-031US is great product. The Good with light weight fast compressor, small footprint, big 15.6-Inch screen can see the entire page on the net. The bad 6 cell battery last less than 4 hours with minimum use, I purchased the 9 cell battery and it goes for over 6 hours. Wireless is flaky and takes some time to get it going, Video cam quality is just not that good, no PCMCIA slot. Overall new MSI laptop -MSI CR620-031US works better for me than my 17" laptop as I travel tru airports 20 times a month and was really tired of toting such a big laptop back and forth through security.
