Samsung Go N315 has the best combination of features and options of any of netbook available. Samsung Go N315 price for $429 from Amazon. It has a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) matte display, powered by a 1.66GHz N450 Atom Pineview processor, 1GB RAM, 250GB HDD and Windows 7 Starter. Other features include a 1.3MP webcam, Wi-Fi (b/g/n), three USB ports and a 4-cell battery good for 4.5 hours of runtime. If you need a fast laptop just for the net, then I highly recommend the Samsung Go N315. Love it!

Samsung R430 build quality is solid. Very comfortable keyboard, in addition to the size I find the layout and shape of the keys to be my favorite. Very bright-clear 14-Inch screen. The Samsung R430 has a very sturdy-quality-sexy look! The speed in boot up exceeded my expectations. This was $50-$100 cheaper than any comparable models that had all the features I wanted. And yes, I am writing this review on the Samsung R430 laptop with a fairly bright window behind me, and it works just great.

Samsung R530 is a great laptop that incorporates the positive features of most competing laptops, while avoiding their weak spots. The keyboard is firm and responsive, with well-spaced keys that have a good amount of travel. The quality of the screen is better than the ones on the other laptops, The Samsung R530 LCD is LED-backlit, the lighting is uniform with no blotching, and the brightness is incredible when turned up to 100%. Performance is very snappy for such a low-powered system. All in all, Samsung R530 is combination of great features and well thought-out design solutions make it the best netbook on the market at the moment.

Overall, it is my favorite laptop purchase.

Samsung N220 with a 10.1-inch LCD screen with 1024 by 600 resolution. Comes with the new energy efficient Intel Atom Pine Trail CPU, 1GB RAM, a 250GB HDD and Windows 7 Starter. Of course you also get the promised 11 hours of battery life. The overall performance is very good. Price tag starting from 349-399 Euros. That means we should see this netbook hit the U.S. in the sub-$500 price range. Samsung N220 netbook temporarily surfaced on the website of a French retailer, although the listing was quickly removed.

Samsung N220 running Atom N450 processor got over 10.5 hours of battery life, it still gets in a full day of computing. I think Netbooks might find a niche in the small segment of the market that would sacrifice, power for a few more hours than ULV’s, and still want a low cost. I think $300 – $350 should be at the high end $250 – $299 mid range, and $146 – $249 lower end. Getting the price down rather than increasing features should be the emphasis.

Samsung N140 has fast speed, for gaming like World of Warcraaft, etc. And long battery life, It’s not mobile if you’re chained to power cord. Touchpad is flushed and buttons are not too sensitive, for the most part they work and I plan to get a wireless mouse anyways. Overall, great product, good quality, best bang for your buck. Similarly spec’ed notebooks at 10.1″ runs around $400, this one is a no brainer if you’re looking for a netbook. I’m fairly happy with everything else.

Samsung N140-14R was based on the N10 series, but the saddest feature which the sure could have stolen from the N120 is the wonderful embedded Speakers surrounding the screen. It has over 8 hours of battery life. Win7 Starter does not allow you to change your wallpaper nor is there any aero transparent glass, no media center or other such goodies. Quickly did the “anytime” on-line upgrade thing to Win7 home premium. Also for best performance with streaming videos (such as instant play netflix movies) press Fn&F8 at the same time to change power settings. Also be sure to install the 2gb memory upgrade, periodicaly go to Samsung’s web site and get any desired updates including bios.

Samsung N130 is a super netbook for $299.99. It’s a perfect fit at a perfect price. Build quality is solid as you would expect from Samsung. The N130 is solid, yet light, boasts a 90%ish sized keyboard (works great with my big fingers) and has a 5.8 hours of battery life, real world. Video is the greatest on here, YouTube is OK, video files are slightly choppy especially at full screen.
