Sony Vaio M is 10.1-inch netbook. It is a little gawky when it’s in the travel sleeve. Sony Vaio M specs with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 CPU, 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM, a 250GB hard drive, plus 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and a built-in webcam. The price will be $600-$1000. The expensive price is reserved for their cool shit. Overall, Love it!

Sony VAIO Z Series seems no way to buy it here unless you import the March EUR release. For $1800, this is pretty cheap IMO. But if you go for the full balls to the wall model with 1080p screen, blu-ray, etc, you will be paying $5-3k for this. The Vaio Z is offered with a Core i7 as well, I think it is the 640. Also- there is an extended battery available. The Sony’s nice, no doubt about it, but the cost is too high. Expensive but wow that looks nice. I really wish I could afford Sony VAIO Z Series. Lookup the dimensions the Sony Z is much lighter and even a bit smaller in volume than the 11x. The Z is definitely a premium over the MBP. If you want a sony to compare the MBP then you should look at the SR. All in all, brilliantly conceived but poorly executed. Let’s hope the build quality has improved, otherwise there is no way to justify that price.

Sony VAIO VPC-CW21FX/W is 14-Inch White Laptop. It have been beyond my price point, but it looks like they want to capture more of the low end market by introducing this line. Looks nice, colors and all. Plus, it’s got everything I wanted: portability as it’s right around 5.3 pounds, a banging screen as you’d expect from Sony, 4 gigs of RAM which is more than I expected. I was very happy with Sony VAIO VPC-CW21FX/W laptop.

Sony VAIO VPC-CW21FX/L is 14-Inch Blue Laptop. Screen is a slight reflective. Windows 7 is impressive and works smoothly. Almost everything is on the front or on the sides, no need to meddle with the back for something. Keyboard is first class, very quiet. The speakers are well-positioned between screen and keyboard. All in all a very good notebook, very quiet, no temperature that boils your thighs, an eye candy, very light and handy with good parts and pieces in it.

Sony Vaio S11 is new Sony Laptop. It feature a 13.3-inch WXGA X-Black display with maximum resolution of 1366×768 pixels, it is great for a machine you carry with you and you can always connect to an external monitor if the task at hand would benefit from more screen space. Power by a 2.13GHz Intel Core i3-330M Processor, its much better than a 1.6ghz atom, 4GB DDR3 SDRAM 1066MHz, Intel HM55 HD Graphics GPU with 1GB of VRAM, and a 320GB HDD 5400rpm. I like this sony laptop.

Sony Vaio F11 is one of the New Laptop. It with 16.4-inch Display, adds a half terabyte storage drive just for kicks. Sony appears to consistenly make a good product that stands up to wear and tear. I would recommend this laptop to friends. Sony did a great job with the design, looks and also the special “Web” button. Sony laptops were light and not bulky. I love this sony laptop!

Sony Vaio Y11 is new Sony Laptop. It with 13.3-inch VAIO Display, power by 1.3GHz Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor with 4GB of DDR3 memory and 320GB of storage. The laptop is fast, lots of power, runs everything. Sony packs in way too much preinstalled crap on their laptops, and I really wish they wouldn’t, but I guess that’s the price of buying a machine like this.

New Sony Vaio T Laptop with CULV processor and best 17 hours of battery life, this would be perfect. It with integrated optical drive and apparently dual HDDs. The SSD option is actually 2 SSDs in RAID 0 configuration. The T series of laptops was the much older model with Pentium M Centrino chips. It with the cheapest configuration costing 129, 800 yen ($1,405). I doubt this will come out for $1400 in the USA, I will want getting one! It pretty good on the value.

Sony VAIO VGN-NW240F/S is one of the Best Sony Laptop to Buy. This isn’t a tiny netbook. As always, the Vaio screen is lovely and bright, and widescreen. The ports seem to be well-placed. And the aesthetics are quite nice — it’s a brushed, fingerprint-resistant silver. It’s really quite fast, no choking or hard drive whirring while loading programs, etc. And it’s extremely quiet. They keyboard took a little while to adapt to, but it’s nice and roomy, with space between the keys. The touchpad works well, and the DVD drive is also smooth and quiet. The HDMI port works as it should with my LCD tv. I’m happy I made this purchase, would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone!
