My Best Laptop

Toshiba NB305-N310 keyboard is absolutely great on this machine, it is what attracted me to the Toshiba initially. The battery life is incredible, although I have yet to try to drain it. The screen is very good and even though only 10.1" I am forgetting that I’m on a small machine. Very spacious hard drive at 250GB. This prompted me to permanently move my iTunes collection to this machine so that I can update my podcasts and sync regularly while travelling. I purchased the Toshiba NB305-N310 primarily as a personal and entertainment machine while travelling for business. Overall, still extremely happy.

Toshiba NB305-N410WH with the chicklet keyboard. It separates the keys and my hands never slip off of "home row." The keyboard did take about two days to break in, the keys were unresponsive some of the time, but now everything is very smooth. The battery lasts a VERY long time. The operating system easily accepts all kinds of attachments without a hitch. Set up was a breeze and the large hard drive is a boon for loading the various software that I like to use. I’m very satisfied with Toshiba NB305-N410WH.

Toshiba Satellite L505-GS5037 has not disappointed me and at the price ($649.99) for the specs (4g ram/500g HD)it has been the a great laptop. One plus with this laptop is that it came with very little "bloatware and some games. So, if you buy this laptop at a "Box Store" don’t let them con you into optimization for an extra $50-$100, you can do recovery disks and bloatware removal on your own. The only downside is I really wish it had an HDMI output for streaming movies to my flat screen from places like Amazon, but the VGA or USB output will have to suffice. Very satisfied and wow what a great price I got, Toshiba Satellite L505-GS5037 is a well equipped laptop.

Toshiba Satellite E205 is pretty damn advanced. Got a beta up and running in five minutes. The newer Intel variants are certainly much more powerful than the old GMA950. This laptop has a very light display. I think the keyboard would be enough to make me choose this one. No need to have multiple receivers, just listen to the audio portion through network attached speakers while you take your shower. Watching a movie with the fam.Toshiba’s WiDi-equipped Satellite E205 now shipping for $900. It has been on sale for a like a week already at Best Buy.

Toshiba Mini NB305-N410BL is 10.1-Inch Royal Blue Netbook. We Will upgrade from the Windows 7 Starter Edition, Should have been at least a higher addition! I expect the battery to last for 6.5-7 hours, which is very good. I like the keyboard and the mouse pad. The 6-cell battery that extends out towards the back is not a problem to me either, rather than extending downwards like in some other netbooks. So far we have found this little laptop to be excellent.

Toshiba Satellite L455-S5975 is totally great for price. I found one of these at Amazon for $419.99 so I figured I’d give it a shot. It boots exceptionally fast and doesn’t struggle with anything we throw at it. Youtube HD, hulu, flash-based sites, etc, it all works very well. It’s a larger laptop than most 15.6″ with more empty space around the keyboard than’s really desired. As for battery life, two hours is probably stretching it. All in all, a good laptop for basic usage.

Toshiba Mini NB305 with higher resolution plays flash HD video, but they all have graphics chipsets that will be supported by flash 10.1 later. Playing 720p Flash video is a bit more taxing than h.264 or whatever else you’re playing locally. It had a slightly better overall experience, the screen quality leaves a bit to be desired. very cool design. You can get the NB305 for as little as $349.
