The HP dv4t SE’s 1280×800 14.1-inch screen displays smooth video thanks to NVIDIA’s 512MB GeForce 9200M GS discrete graphics card. It comes with Intel’s Core 2 Duo CPU running at 2.0GHz and 2GB of RAM memory, although it is upgradeable for free to 3GB. A 160GB SATA hard disk drive is standard fare, but HP again offers a free upgrade to a 250GB HDD.

The HP dv5t SE comes with the same 2.0GHz processor, though it sports a larger 15.4-inch screen with 1280×800 resolution, and offers the option of a 1680×1050 display. The standard-fare graphics processors comes via Intel’s integrated GMA 4500MHD. The same 250GB HDD is offered as a no-cost option over the 160GB drive. Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit is the standard OS on either special edition laptop. What’s special about these two laptops? I guess it must be the fancy design, right? Pricing starts at $1,099.99 for the dv4t and at $949 for the dv5t.
