Acer Aspire AS7551G-5056 is a really nice laptop. The screen is gorgeous though, its nicer then my monitor on my desktop and that thing is really sweet. The keyboard responds well and I especially like the number pad. It runs rather hot but most laptops do. The battery lasts about half an hour to 45 minutes while playing Call of Duty on high settings, which is better then I would have expected from a 6-cell laptop battery. Toshiba Satellite A665-S6057 offers great performance for the money. The i5 processor is more than enough power for most users. Between the graphics and the i5, the machine is capable of playing the new 4K super high-resolution YouTube videos without a hitch, and I haven’t seen any lag resulting from having multiple applications open at the same time. There are faster computers out there, but at this price, the performance is excellent. Price for $899.99 from Toshiba.

They don’t sound as good as any halfway decent 2.1 speaker system, but they do not have the "tin" sound that many laptops have. So for listening to music while working, watching videos, or listening to NPR news updates, they do a great job.

I do like Toshiba Satellite A665-S6057 display. It’s not as good as those that come with MacBook Pro, but it is sufficient for viewing photos, videos, etc., and just big enough for it to be acceptable to tile two windows side by side. This machine also has both VGA and HDMI output for external displays, but I haven’t yet connected this to my desktop display. It’s worth noting that the 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium install that comes on this laptop works out of the box.

Sony VPCZ122GX/S Laptop For Sale

I operate almost only in "stamina" graphics mode and in this mode the laptop is whisper quiet – and actually quite cool. Looks like they didn’t skimp on the copper inside. A small disappointment is the AC adapter, which is clearly not fully thought out as a companion to a ultraportable of this type.The build quality on the laptop is pretty good from what I can see. It’s a 3lb laptop so of course there is some flex – unit of this type will get its durability in fact by having some flex rather than the rigidity that can be built into a 5 or 6 lb unit. Overall Sony VPCZ122GX/S has been a great purchase from my view.
