Dell Inspiron 1470 worth every penny. Much longer battery life than most any other laptop i was able to find under $600. Great amount of storage and memory. Can put my camera chip directly into computer on the side, w/o having to dig out the usb cable.

Dell Inspiron 11 has the all important SpeedStep technology found in the more expensive Core2 Duo. It was purchased to replace a larger Dell laptop that was heavier. While the old one was great for school, the new lighter weight 1100 is perfect for travelling and taking to the library. The new Windows 7 that came in the computer is also an outstanding upgrade.
