HP Pavilion DM3 is a beautiful machine. The screen is a glossy 13.3″ Widescreen and reflects glare in areas of bright light. The keyboard layout is well positioned and intuitive. The touchpad is metallic in color and uses gestures to scroll, zoom and rotate. The mouse buttons take a touch too much pressure to depress. The speakers sound a little better than OK but aren’t very loud. The fan is not very loud. he webcam works well and so does the built-in mic. On sale this unit can be found for around $500-$550 right now. Overall I like it more than any other lap top I have ever owned and I have had IBM, Gateway, HP, and Dell.
