Toshiba Satellite E205 is pretty damn advanced. Got a beta up and running in five minutes. The newer Intel variants are certainly much more powerful than the old GMA950. This laptop has a very light display. I think the keyboard would be enough to make me choose this one. No need to have multiple receivers, just listen to the audio portion through network attached speakers while you take your shower. Watching a movie with the fam.Toshiba’s WiDi-equipped Satellite E205 now shipping for $900. It has been on sale for a like a week already at Best Buy.

Toshiba Satellite L455-S5975 is totally great for price. I found one of these at Amazon for $419.99 so I figured I’d give it a shot. It boots exceptionally fast and doesn’t struggle with anything we throw at it. Youtube HD, hulu, flash-based sites, etc, it all works very well. It’s a larger laptop than most 15.6″ with more empty space around the keyboard than’s really desired. As for battery life, two hours is probably stretching it. All in all, a good laptop for basic usage.

Toshiba Satellite L505 Best Buy from the Amazon website. DDR3 is worth the extra $22. If you need more ports then u can buy a USB hub. The L505 series only has 3 USB ports. There is no way to change increase USB ports. I own the Toshiba Satellite L505 model and everything about it is great! The only issue that came with mine is the keyboard which has a lot of flex on the left side for some reason, newer models this is fixed!

Toshiba Satellite M500 is especially consumer notebooks. The one thing I don’t like is the textured trackpad. The keyboard look incredibly even. Within it’s price range, it is an excellent laptop. It is available only with a high gloss finish which shows every tiny fingerprint. As soon as you touch it your fingerprints show up like a sore thumb. Don’t bother cleaning off the prints, as soon as you touch it they’re back. At least for me. I find the features very appealing.

Toshiba Satellite L505-S5993 screen is beautiful and bright. Battery life is not 4+ hrs but is still amazing compared to any other laptop I have owned. The performance is very respectable for the price. Plenty of RAM and a big hard drive. The built in DVD-RW is great as well in a laptop this thin. The processor could be faster but for $550 it is everything I expected. This is a great looking laptop and the number pad on the 15.6 version is wonderful for us business people.

Toshiba Satellite L505 is perfect for my needs with college, work, and of course entertainment. This laptop is designed perfectly for typing, and the weight of this particular model is perfect when typing from your lap. It has an amazing display. Only problem is the disappointing mechanical sound volume control, reported elsewhere for other Satellite equipment. It supports Lightscribe technical. The wireless works great, video looks good too. Comes with a free upgrade to windows 7.
